COVID-19 RULES/PROTOCOLS

If you have covid-19 symptoms, have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days or have been near someone who has travelled outside of Canada or tested positive for covid-19 in the last 14 days

YOU MUST CANCEL - DO NOT BOOK

Your mask must be on prior to entering - completely covering your nose and mouth. If you forget your mask, or do not have one, I can provide one for you for a small fee. You mask must remain on for the entire duration of your service(s), unless you're booked in for a facial treatment.

Upon entering, you will be asked to remove your footwear (as this is a home-based business) and sanitize your hands - there are several stations throughout the shop, the main one is at the front desk.

If you're early and I'm not quite ready to see you, please come in and sanitize and proceed to the back of the shop where you'll see two white stools covered in plastic to sit on, or stand near. 

COME ALONE, COME ON TIME

The cancellation policy will not be implemented during this time IF some notice is given. Please advise if you're feeling ill the moment it happens - preferably at least an hour before your appointment. 

You cannot use Covid symptoms as an excuse for running late or not showing up at all

After each client, touched surfaces (inside and outside of front doorhandle, bathroom, stools etc) get cleaned with a disinfectant wipe. The waxing bed and manicure/pedicure seats get cleaned with a disinfectant wipe and then sprayed with disinfected and left for 3 minutes.

Gloves are worn for all services. We are both masked. For facial services, goggles are worn as well. During face waxing and facials, you will be asked to keep talking to a minimum.

I (and you) use popsicle sticks to press the buttons on the payment machine so it's not touched by clients, or myself, but wiped clean each time just to be safe.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients who do not cancel/reschedule prior to 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked, unless the spot can be filled.

Same goes for changes upon arrival - e.g. if you are booked for a full leg wax and decide you only want a half leg wax, that leaves a gap in my schedule that could have been filled with proper notice.

Appointments booked same day and then cancelled hours later, will be subject to the 50% fee.

If you're late for your appointment, I'll do my best to complete your service. However, out of respect for my time and my next client's schedule, this may not be possible. You will be charged full price for the service(s) booked.

Clients who don't show up for their appointment and fail to give a minimum of 3hours notice will be charged FULL price for the service(s) booked and may be expected to pay before they are booked for their next appointment. It's near impossible for me to find someone to replace your spot with the short notice.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation and I understand this all sounds detailed, but everything is in place to better service my established and future clientele, and keep my schedule filled.
